LOCATOR FIXED allows clinicians to upgrade existing LOCATOR Overdenture patients to a fully fixed solution without replacing the patient’s existing LOCATOR abutments. Existing and New LOCATOR overdenture candidates can be upgraded to a fully fixed solution at a fraction of the cost of screw-retained all-on-four or all-on-X solutions. Staged treatment planning allows for a pay as you go approach for you and your patient.
The kit contains enough housings and inserts to convert 6 to 9 edentulous arches. Each kit contains 3 different kinds of LOCATOR FIXED inserts: green, blue, and tan. Green inserts are used in 4 abutment LOCATOR FIXED cases. Blue and Tan inserts are used in combination for cases with 5 to 6 abutments. How Does LOCATOR FIXED Work?
LOCATOR FIXED uses a series of proprietary rigid inserts and housings that work with existing LOCATOR abutments to provide a permanent, fixed, full-arch solution for your edentulous patients. It uses the same LOCATOR abutment and workflow that is widely used in LOCATOR removable overdenture procedures today.

Can I Use LOCATOR FIXED on Other Overdenture Attachment Systems?
No. LOCATOR FIXED is designed specifically for LOCATOR abutments and will not work with other systems, even if they have similar designs. Patients with other attachment systems will need to have their existing abutments replaced with LOCATOR abutments in order to take advantage of LOCATOR FIXED.
