How Do I Convert an Existing Overdenture into a LOCATOR FIXED Prosthesis?
A: To convert an existing overdenture to a LOCATOR FIXED prosthesis, you will need the following:
- Chairside Trephine bur
- Chairside Denture Prep & Polish Kit
- LOCATOR FIXED housings
- LOCATOR FIXED inserts
- LOCATOR Black processing inserts
- Chairside Attachment Processing Material
The overdenture to LOCATOR FIXED conversion process is very straight forward.
- Change the existing removable overdenture housings to LOCATOR FIXED housings
- Trim back the flanges of the denture to convert into a hybrid denture
- Change to LOCATOR FIXED inserts
Once this is complete all that is left to do is place the LOCATOR FIXED prosthesis
